In case you are taking 105 in the fall (although I don't know why you would want to), I'm taking my final at 1:30 and will be leaving my book outside the Record office in Paresky around that time. It's in pretty crappy condition (and it's the older edition) but it's still totally usable. Pick it up if you want.

LOST: Box with some VHS tapes

I seem to have lost a bunch of UN videos that I got for the Model UN club. There are four of them, and they are in the box that they were delivered in. There is also a little plastic case with some 7-8 blank DVD-R's in there.

If you find it, please e-mail me at aal2. If you stole them, they are of absolutely no value. Why would you ever want to look at a bunch of old guys talking about global issues anyway? Turns out I do, so I'd really like to have it back =D

CHEAPsale: wooden coat rack, blue lamp

I'd like to sell my wooden coat rack and blue table lamp before graduation.

The wooden coat rack is really cool - most useful piece of furniture I bought for college. From Ikea, with three vertical boards that connect at their centers. Really easy to just throw a heap of coats on - great for avoiding clutter. It's in great shape - just has some tape from storage, but it isn't visible after you hang coats. I'd like to sell it for $15.

The table lamp has a light blue ceramic base, white shade with matching blue rick-rack border on the bottom. Really cute and practically new - just bought it this year. I'd like to sell it for $5.

Perfect for frosh moving into singles next year!

I have a microwave, mini fridge, and storage drawer set that I would like to sell before graduation.
The microwave and fridge are both in excellent, super clean condition – nothing but tea has been heated in the microwave, so it’s in impeccable shape. They just have a little tape on the exterior from when I stored them over the summer. $15 for microwave, $25 for fridge, or $30 for both.
The storage unit is amaaaazing – it has 4 drawers, it about 2 feet deep, 8 inches wide, and 3.5 feet tall. From the Container Store – great for storing toiletries and putting a lamp on top. It’s in perfect shape – super clean, no cracks, etc. $10 for the unit.

Basically, its brand new. I bought it for like 700. Ill part with it for 200, or best offer. email 08cdm. Ill even bring it down four flights of stairs for you at no additional cost!

Don't wanna pay for storage? Can't find someone to take that bike off your hands? Give it to me! I will 'store' it for you this summer, which means that I will borrow your bike so I have a way of getting to my job. I'll keep it in tip-top shape, and even refill the tires/give it a good shinin' before I return it to you. I'm looking for a woman's bike, or a man's one that's small enough for me to ride. I will pick it up from your dorm any time until Sunday afternoon, and will bring it back to campus when I return on August 23. Email vcr1 if interested.

We greatly appreciate your help if you are willing to make a contribution to a community school far in Tibet.

Where in Tibet? Please take a look:

What can be done? We welcome anything you think good for the Tibetan school and hopefully OK for me to transport there. Especially, we are currently seeking used laptops. Please donate what is no longer quite useful to you but of great use to that school, or Make A Deal (just avoid charging the price too high:)

Lost: Important Rings, Reward

Okay, so this is a long shot, but I seem to have misplaced a handful of rings that are very important to me (one is a ring that I got in remembrance of a good friend that died when I was a sophomore in high school). That being said, if you find a cluster of rings (I am a bit spacey, and probably took them off when I was typing somewhere or something), let me know. I am going to say these rings together are probably worth $100 reward - they are not much to look at, but all have extreme sentimental value for me. Descriptions below. Thanks!

Meggie
10mnn@williams.edu

1 Silver ring with round aquamarine stone
1 Silver ring with small blue stone, birthstone of my friend that died, her birthday is engraved in the inside of the ring
1 Silver ring with a square amethyst stone, Christmas gift
1 Silver ring with silver and gold flower on it, Birthday gift

GIVE IT UP!!!!!

*Please join in this year's GIVE IT UP DRIVE.*

Before you throw all your things in the trash, Donate what you don't want or need to others. These donations are for _great_ causes. Don't just leave it in your room or throw it away!!!! One person's trash is another's treasure. Several Organizations are looking to collect books, food, clothes, furniture, school supplies, WHATEVER YOU CAN THINK OF!!!!! (hopefully in decent conditions)

Take the time to take everything that you don't want to the HUGE, special marked pod closest to your building. Don't forget, _if you leave it in your room you get fined by the college._ Help out by putting your donated items in the correct boxes marked "clothing" "food" "books" etc. *DON'T GET FINED!!! JUST GIVE IT UP!!!!*

Special pods will be marked with signs detailing what can be given. Some will be removed before others so get your stuff out as soon as you can.

MISSING: Dildo (seriously)

Our entry, Armstrong/Pratt 1 has had a dildo since Valentine's Day as part of an ongoing inside joke. At some point in the past few weeks, it went missing from our common room. An exact date could not be pinpointed. After a thorough search we have reason to believe the dildo may have been stolen. Regardless, it is missing and we would like it back before the end of the year. Here are the facts:

Physical Description: 8 inches long, flesh colored, and veiny with a phallic shape.

Last Seen: In the Armstrong-Pratt common room, first floor of Mission Park.

If you have it or stumble across the dildo, please return it no questions asked. This object has become an integral part of our entry and I think I speak for most members when I say we miss it very much. Its sentimental value far exceeds any capital value it may have.

Get involved in campus journalism!

Are you interested in getting involved in journalism on campus? The Williams Progressive is looking for new editors for next year. The Progressive is a (you guessed it) progressive-leaning newsletter published 2-3 times a year. Students contribute articles on any political subject they want, from local to international issues. We are currently looking for three editors to replace the seniors who are graduating this year. The job consists of writing articles, finding contributors willing to submit articles, and compiling and publishing the Progressive. This is excellent experience if you are interested in going into journalism after college, and it's one of the few opportunities on campus to get involved in journalism/editing. The current editors are willing to teach you everything needed to get involved, and we'll be around after the end of classes if you want to meet then. Email 08mjb_2 for more information.

FOR SALE: 12.0 MP Kodak Digital Camera

Brand-new, never-been-used Kodak EasyShare 12.0 MP digital camera for sale! It's a wonderful point-and-shoot that takes very high-quality pictures, it's just not what I was looking for. (And due to my own stupidity, I cannot return it.)

The camera comes with Kodak EasyShare software and a USB charger; I also purchased an AC Adapter charger that comes with. I should ask about $210 for camera and charger, but I'm very willing to negotiate price. For more details on the camera's features:

Sublet in NYC--June

My friend (Williams alumnae) is subletting her apartment for the month of June. All of the info is below. If you're interested, contact Suzanne Geer at suzanne.geer@gmail.com. Williams is a pretty small community, so I think the criteria would be met.

Hey Everyone,

I am officially moving to downtown and my two leases overlap for June. As a result, I would really appreciate it if you could spread the word that I am looking for someone to sublet one of the places. Both roommates will be gone for 2 of the weeks of June so they want the subletter to be someone we know through someone . . . so here we go

my current place:
343 East 66th St, Apt 22
5th floor walkup
2 bedroom, rooms fit double beds plus dresser, large closets, 4 windows
large bathroom
kitchen with new appliances connected to living room with couch and dining area
the lease is up July 1 and my roommate and I are moving out so there's the option to renew.
currently $1325, but negotiable

new place:
85 Kenmare, apt 30
5th floor walkup
2 bedroom, room fits queen plus dresser, large closets
larger kitchen, smaller bathroom, 3 windows
this one I'll moving into, so it's just for the month of june
$1300, but negotiable

Please let me know if you want me to send photos if someone is interested or if I've left something out.

Thanks!!!

It’s my mom’s from back in the day and it’s important to me. I’ll even give you *-$20- NEGOTIABLE. I REALLY WANT IT BACK* , no questions asked.

Large Mini-Fridge, $20

Largish (bigger than cube) black and silver General Electric mini-fridge. It's not the prettiest thing, especially because it has a lot of remains of packing tape on the sides, but it gets the job done. I'll be using it until the end of the year, but anyone who would like to take it off my hands at the end of exam period for $20 (or best offer, if I don't get that much) is welcome to do so.

Samsung 32" LCD Flatscreen TV $550

I've had this TV since the start of this year, but am going to get a new one for next year and I don't want to ship this thing home, because it costs about 60 dollars for me. It's in great condition and is an awesome TV. I bought it for 1000 dollars back in september and am selling it for much less now! You can check it out on Amazon.com here:

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNS3241D-32-LCD-HDTV/dp/B000ELSXZE

The lowest listed price on Amazon is 750, but I'm selling it for 550 dollars... It has 2 HDMI and 1 composite input for HD TV or a Playstation 3 or Xbox or whatever. Come with remote control. Like I said, it's in almost perfect condition! Please email me with any questions. Thanks!

To the Williams Community,
Recent community concerns necessitate a more thorough collective understanding of discrimination at Williams. As one small step to get us all on the same page, students and administrators have created the following website which functions as a bias reporting mechanism and as a living public archive. It is now live, and can be viewed at the following URL.

You can have TWO MOTORAZR v3 phones for free if you’re willing to take over my cell phone contract. This is a family plan and the approx cost for two people is $70 (all included) a month for 550 anytime mins, free calling within ATT and free nights and weekends. There are lots of rollover minutes that you can use too! The contract is until October 31…I’m studying abroad and the cancellation fee on two lines is pretty prohibitive. So if you and a friend/family member would like to take over this plan until 10/31, it’s just $70 for TWO people+two free phones.

Take over my cell phone plan

You can have TWO MOTORAZR v3 phones for free if you're willing to take over my cell phone contract. This is a family plan and the approx cost for two people is $70 (all included) a month for 550 anytime mins, free calling within ATT and free nights and weekends. There are more than a thousand rollover minutes that you can use too! The contract is until October 31...I'm studying abroad and the cancellation fee on two lines is pretty prohibitive. So if you and a friend/family member would like to take over this plan until 10/31, it's just **$70 for TWO people+two free phones**

PHOTOS: Weeny Jam+Spotlight+Symph Winds

Hello hello,

New photos hot off the photoshop (complete with random stories!)

Weeny Jam (Snowboard and Ski Terrain Park Awesomeness)

Crazy, crazy stuff. Crazy people doing crazy stuff. And a few thousand hot dogs. And palm trees....lots of palm trees. Highlights: backflip hand plants, lying in the pit of the jump as people flew over me, tackling said ubiquitous palm trees. I only edited a few photos since I'm busy/lazy.

Theatre 101: Spotlight

I met with Omar a few moments before the performance. Me: "Hey Omar, you know it's a terrible idea for me to take photos during the performance. My camera is way too noisy, and it'll distract the audience from the show. Omar: "You are part of the show." Me: *brain explodes* I get there, and, lo and behold, my name is on the list of performers. So, I played an arrogant photographer and screamed at the audience. Later, telling this to Sarah Fink, she says, "Arrogant photographer? That was acting?" Deep burn.

Symphonic Winds

Normally, classical music performances are a pain to shoot. You have to be quiet (shoot only when it gets loud!) and hide in the back of a house like an art sniper. Sometimes, though, you get lucky and you get to shoot a full dress rehearsal. The photos are a lot better and you get to jump around like a monkey. Noah Lindquist requested that I shoot on the beat, which I was happy to accommodate. Watching the conductor, I felt like a real musician. Someday I'll get my wish, and David Kechley will compose for the click of a shutter. Oh, and I haven’t finished editing the performance images--soon, though.

Security has a large collection of glasses, keys, and other items students have lost (a few cellphones even). Stop by during normal daytime hours and ask to see the lost and found. Campus Life sometimes collects lost items from Paresky. Schow has a lost and found and Sawyer probably does too (ask a librarian). Even Driscoll has a lost and found box, upstairs around the corner where the lounge is. Good luck all!

Books and an electric guitar: Currier N13

I have multiple books, most from last year/semester, available to purchase. Just send me an email at 09idm@williams.edu and I'll stop by your room to exchange for cash.

The prices are lower than the cheapest ones off Amazon.com in the used section...which means that you'll save at least $4 by skipping shipping and get your book immediately. Most books are in very good condition, with a few underlines, and my name on the bottom side (to deter theft).

Bio 101. The World of the Cell: 6th ed. $80
Stat 201. Stats: Data and Models. $40
Spanish 105. Puntos de Vista. $5
Phil 103. A Concise Introduction to Logic: 9th ed, With Good Reason: An introduction to informal fallacies, and Hume: Dialogues concerning natural religion. $90 for all.
Hist 253 (US History from Appomattox to AOL). All appropriate books. $70.
Legal Studies 101. All appropriate books. $30.

As for the guitar, it is a USB connected Behringer iAxe393 (no dings or chips on it). Three single-coils, classic vibrato, 22 frets, and a software amplifier based on a Marshall Plexi 1968. It's been improved with Dunlop straplocks, an extra long USB cord (15 ft), Elixir .10-.52 gauge strings, an 1/4 to 1/8 adapter so you can listen with computer speaker or headphones to what you're playing, and a gig bag. $50 for all.
I had received a guitar as a present so I keep this one because of space concerns.
