| Cap & Bells Presents THE SHAPE OF THINGS | From: Michelle N. Noyer-Granacki '11 Posted: Wednesday November 04 |
Neil LaBute’s The Shape of Things opens tomorrow, November 5 and continues on Friday, November 6 and Saturday November 7. All performances are at 8:00pm in the Centerstage.
Adam, an awkward, shy and socially inept college junior, meets Evelyn, a sexy, daring and influential art student, when she defaces one of the statues in the museum at which he works. When they begin dating, Adam finds himself growing in confidence, but his best friends Phillip and Jenny aren’t sure they like the new Adam, or his new girlfriend…
The play poses both the questions of how far will one person go for the person they love, and how far is too far in art?
The play stars Christina Adelakun ‘13 (Jenny), Jimmy Grzelak ’13 (Adam), Chris Hikel ’13 (Phillip) and Caroline O’Connell ’11 (Evelyn).
Visit the 62 Center Box Office to buy tickets ahead of time or buy tickets at the door. Seating is fairly limited, so don’t miss your chance to see this provocative and shocking production!
