Posted: Friday August 03

Do you love writing? Would you like to share your passion and expertise with Mt. Greylock middle and high school students this coming school year? Would you like to be part of a new Writing Center initiative?

Now accepting applications for next year’s Mt. Greylock Writing Fellows (WF) Program to begin in September. As a Writing Fellow you will work with middle or high school students one or more times per week either in a classroom setting, online, or one-on-one with 11th and 12th grade students who particularly struggle with their writing skills. Scheduled times vary, so we will work with you to find the best fit. You will receive training and ongoing mentoring by teachers at the school and the WF coordinator, Jessica Dils. This is a one semester or more commitment; a driver’s license in order to drive a college car or private car is a plus. All fellows will be paid $9.50 per hr. for this work. Workstudy and non-workstudy students elegible.

If you are interested in applying to be a Writing Fellow or would like more information, please contact Jessica Dils at jessdils@gmail.com
