Williamstown Theater Festival has a Guild, a go-to group of volunteers who help out in a pinch. They ferry food to the theater on the nights when the crew has to stay up all night breaking down one set and putting up another, they search for specific props (a red wing-back armchair) and specific minor actors (a scruffy white dog, a two and a half foot tall child), and so forth. If you are interested in participating, or at least being on the notification list, you have two options. One is to email Molly Kerns at darliesmom@gmail.com and ask. The other is to attend this season’s organizing meeting, Tuesday (June 4) at 5:30 at Hops & Vines (free snacks, cash bar).
