About the Band
Fun Times & Good Music
Justin, Nick, and Matt entrance the opposing team.
The Marching Band serves as a cheering section at the football games, as well as an entertainment show for halftime. We have many cheers that we use to taunt the other team (and the refs), and we play a lot of music during timeouts to get the crowd going.
What are our shows like? Well, we just happen to have a sample show right here! This show was from the 2005 Homecoming game against AmHerst. The text of the show is read over a loudspeaker while the band stands in formation on the field. The Band then plays a song (where indicated) and "scrambles" into its next formation. It might be a little hard to picture, but hopefully this gives you some idea of what we do...
Interested in joining the band? Here's a letter that got sent to the incoming freshmen this summer. We welcome anyone who wants to play some music, shout some taunts, and eat lots of sugar!
