The Elizabethans are a co-ed, all-student a capella group formed in January of 1993 here at Williams, in scenic Williamstown, MA. Our purpose is the performance of Renaissance vocal music. Our specialty is the madrigal, a 16th and 17th century form that took Italy, England, "and eventually all of Europe by storm." But we perform all kinds of other music too, ranging from spirituals to selected PDQ Bach. Check out our repertoire for details!
