The Dodd
Neighborhood, established in 2006, is one of the four residential
neighborhoods at Williams College. It consists of nine dorms located
in the northeast part of campus: Dodd, Hubbell, Parsons, Goodrich,
Lehman, Sewall, Tyler, Tyler Annex, and Thompson, with Dodd as the “hub” of
the neighborhood. Although the dorms mostly vary in architectural
style, the white colonial-style Dodd House has a distinct green trim that
inspired the neighborhood’s colors. Dodd Neighborhood happens to have
two dining halls in rather central locations: Dodd (located in Dodd House)
and Mission.
Like
all the Williams College residential neighborhoods, Dodd has a governance
board consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Publicity
Coordinator, as well as the neighborhood’s Baxter Fellows. This
year’s board also includes a Campus Life Coordinator (CLC),
Intercluster Competition Chair, Social Chairs, Community Engagement Chair,
MINCO Rep, Faculty Relations Coordinator, and five faculty associates. This
year’s governance board members and their respective contact emails are
listed at left. For specific questions or concerns regarding the Dodd
website, please contact the Publicity Coordinator, Jamie Havlin (Jamie.A.Havlin@williams.edu). The governance board, along with the
Baxter Fellows of each dorm, coordinate Dodd events and collaborate with
the governance boards of the other neighborhoods to coordinate many
all-campus events. To see a list of upcoming Dodd events, please
visit the upcoming events page.
Pictures from previous events can be viewed in the photo gallery. You can also read
