On a Saturday night, you might find Chloe Brown (or, Chlo-Chlo, as her best friends know her) dancing interpretively to "Stacy's Mom" in a dorm strewn with dirty clothes, paper, and broken dreams. Her faith was shaken, one fateful day, when she learned the horrors of mortality from an episode of My Little Ponies. You see, a carnival had come to Dream Land and offered something special to each pretty pony. Only after life had been slowly drained from them did the ponies discover that the carnival was stealing their youth. And the worst part was that they didn't even care…Chloe works hard to make it through, one day at a time, three coffees every morning.
