Resources On Campus
The Dean's Office is available to students for guidance and assistance in any area of college life. The Deans are happy to speak to you about any problem you have, academic, financial, psychological or otherwise. Call the Dean's Office at x4171 to make an appointment or check their website for more information. Donna Denelli-Hess is the Network's advisor and a health educator at the college. She is happy to talk about any health issue you have (and she's great to talk to,) just call x3013 or email her. The Health Center can help you with just about any medical/psychological problem you have. There is a nurse there 24 hours a day for emergencies but you can make an exam with either a general physician, a gynecologist, or a nurse practitioner by calling x2206. Their website gives more information about hours and services. Peer Health has counselors trained to discuss lots of issues including sexuality, contraception, pregnancy, STDs and all kinds of things. Visit their website for more information. Psychological Services, located in the Health Center, provides free counseling to any Williams Student. Sessions can be scheduled with either a female or male counselor and can be made by calling x2353 Security is available 24 hours a day to assist any member of the community. If you need help or would like to report any suspicious activity call them at x4444. Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is composed of non-student members of the community (that means Deans, Health Center staff, and others.) If you are assaulted or raped and would like to have a SART member talk to you, accompany you to the hospital, or need any other assistance, you may contact the member on call through Security (x4444) or through Donna (x3103). |
