At the first SoCA meeting of the 1996-97 academic year, then SoCA president Danielle Deane '97 welcomed approximately 15 students to the organization. Today, SoCA has over 40 members and an increasing alumni network. Our membership has roots in nearly all the Caribbean, including Anguilla, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Montserrat, Trinidad & Tobago and the Virgin Islands. Additionally, several of our members come to us from as diverse places as Hungary, Ghana, Kenya and Virginia (USA).
