Spencer Board

The Presidents are responsible for leading the Governance Board. They will call meetings, set agendas, and work with all other members to oversee and execute both long-term and short-term projects. They will work with other campus groups to foster communication and collaboration. And they will advocate student issues as a member of College Council and by working with faculty and administration.

The Social Chair will make sure that Spencer always has the best social programming. They will work with and recruit help from the Baxter Fellows and other members of the Board. They will also work with other campus groups to plan and co-sponsor collaborative events.

Diversity Chair: Rob Woods

The Diversity Chair will coordinate programming aimed at promoting and celebrating diversity within Spencer Neighborhood in every possible sense of the word. They will serve as a liaison to other diversity-focused groups on campus. And they will work closely as a leader with the Diversity-focused Baxter Fellows.

Community Service Chair: Maria Tucker

The Community Service Chair will create opportunities for Spencer residents to improve the world around them. The Community Service Chair will also serve as a liaison to other service-oriented groups on campus. And they will work closely as a leader with the Community Service-focused Baxter Fellows.

Treasurer: Lindsay Aubin

The Treasurer is responsible for all Spencer funds and accounting. Specifically, they will manage the Neighborhood Entertainment Fund (NEF) and the off-campus Central Fund. The Treasurer will work with the Board to establish budgets for the year, and will be responsible for authorizing purchases made. They will also spearhead neighborhood fundraising.

Secretary: Schuyler Hall

The Secretary will be the head of communications for the Board. They will promote Spencer events through all different methods of advertising. They will also keep minutes at meetings, maintain the website and mailing list, and coordinate photography of Spencer events.
