The first rehearsal for the Symphonic Winds will be:

7:00-8:00 p.m., Chapin Hall

All students interested in playing in Symphonic Winds during the fall 2009 semester should plan to attend this rehearsal. We will discuss ensemble expectations and the plans for the 2009-2010 year (including the March 2010 trip to Philadelphia to perform during the CBDNA conference!), as well as read-through and/or listen to some of the first concert’s repertoire. (Visit the Listening Library to check out recordings of our fall semester repertoire!)

In addition, students who would like to perform Louis Andriessen’s Worker’s Union on the first Midweekmusic of the semester (Wednesday, September 23, 12:15 p.m.) should plan to stay for an additional hour. Everyone is welcome to participate in this concert!
