Answers for Hour Bonus 6 - New York Audio

Hour 6, the New York audio--assembled by me--was challenging not due to being a niche topic, but simply by having hard content. Only seven teams attempted it at all. Hopefully you at least appreciated it aesthetically as a journey through the five boroughs. Snuggles/Charlie and (to a lesser extent) PC LOAD were the only teams to do creditably without Google; Polar Vortex seemed to supplement a creditable base score with Googling. A number of clips stumped everyone: I won't list them all, but I was surprised to see no one get Dylan's "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues," Fitzgerald's version of "The Lady is a Tramp," and Astaire's "Puttin' on the Ritz"; conversely, Allison is disappointed no one got M.O.P.'s "Ante Up." On the other hand, a bunch of you did get Cole Porter's "Manhattan" (sung by the recently deceased Mickey Rooney), so there's that--and I was happy one team got "Once Upon a Time in New York City" from Oliver & Company.
