Cantor Robert Scherr came to Williams in the fall of 2004. "After 3
decades in congregational life, I wanted to bring my skills as a spiritual leader, program facilitator, counselor, and teacher to a vibrant college atmosphere." A native Californian, Bob and his wife, Susie, have been in New England since 1976. "I hope to help represent Jewish life and values to the wider Williams community, as well as to support our Jewish students to
create a vibrant, pluralistic, and welcoming Jewish community for our
campus."
