[TSAW] Mandarin Movie Night Tomorrow, 10/9

Dear TSAW,
I hope that you're having a great morning!
My name is Emerald (中文名字: Meirui), and I'm a student in CHIN 101. I'm
writing because I'm organizing a Mandarin movie screening for Monday, 10/9
and would love to extend an invitation to everyone in TSAW! Here is some
more information about the event:
The 3 films currently on our shortlist are "Eat Drink Man Woman," "Not One
Less," and "The Wedding Banquet." Each film is less than 2 hours long, so
we hope this movie night will serve as a short and fun break from
schoolwork! A small assortment of East Asian snacks (Hokkaido milk and
White Rabbit candy) will be provided, and we welcome students to bring in
additional snacks that reflect their culture so we can learn from each
other in a relaxed environment. :)
If anyone from TSAW would like to join us tomorrow, please let me know and
I will keep you in the loop on when and where the screening will take
place! Additionally, if you want to vote for a particular film on our
shortlist, please also let me know and I can add your vote to the movie
selection poll (which closes at 1AM tonight)!
It would be amazing if you could extend my invitation to the TSAW mailing
list and/or GroupMe (if applicable)! Also, if you have any questions or
suggestions, please feel free to let me know! This is the first time I'm
organizing an intra-club activity, so I would happily welcome any ideas on
how we can make this event as successful as possible.
