They had everyone belting The Strokes and Sean Kingston in the same night,
no further description necessary.*
*SHOW OF THE WEEK*

*THE ALBATROSS HOUR ~ with DJ Skooz*

*THURSDAYS @ 3-4 PM*

*GENRE: Alternative, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz, R&B/Blues, Soul*

*Natalie Wilkinson*
DJ Skooz's "Albatross Hour" is this semester's ornithological iteration of
radio-philosopher Natalie Wilkinson '19. Skooz intersperses her eclectic
set, with no shortage of XXXTentacion, Mos Def, and Erykah Badu and
analytical gum-flapping on said artists, with poetry she ponders. Issa good
show. Check out Hannah Tager's full profile of Natalie here

*FEATURED MUSIC*
*The OOZ*
King Krule

English singer-songwriter King Krule has emerged from his stardust lab with
a messy masterpiece. Filled to the brim with all sorts of weird indie,
trip-hop, and electronic ideas, it's all over the place and probably 20
minutes too long, but its jagged beauty becomes apparent after a few
listens. Key tracks: “Logos,” “Slush Puppy,” “Czech One.”
------------------------------
------------------------------

*Morning After*
dvsn

dvsn, the Toronto R&B duo consisting of crooner Daniel Daley and producer
Nineteen85, might be the most talented act signed to Drake's OVO Sound
label. It's evident on their sophomore release *Morning After, *an
understated collection of slow-burners and baby-makers. Nineteen85 updates
the trappy Toronto sound with live guitars and pianos, while Daley proves
himself as one of the strongest voices in R&B. Key tracks: “Nuh Time / Tek
Time,” “Think About Me,” “Don't Choose.”
------------------------------
------------------------------

*Lil Pump*
Lil Pump

His rap vocabulary might not extend past a few dozen words, but Lil Pump is
making the most infectious, earworm bangers in rap today. Coming off the
success of Soundcloud hits like "D Rose" and "Flex Like Ouu," the 17-year
old South Florida rapper just dropped his self-titled debut album and
it's 36 minutes of Red Bull spiked with adrenaline and Fun Dip powder. Key
tracks: “Iced Out (feat. 2 Chainz),” “Gucci Gang,” “Crazy.”
