Please take the time to look at the schedule and see if you can go to some of these events. Tonight at 7:30 is the kickoff event/vigil in Goodrich. If you can, please do come and support and bring friends. It would mean a lot to me and the other students from the affected areas... Thanks, Andres/Schabes/Andy Hurricane Relief Coalition (HRC) Spring Week: MONDAY 2/27: **Kickoff event: Why Hurricane Relief Still Matters** Goodrich Main Room, 7:30 PM All are welcome to come reflect on the impact of this fall's hurricanes as we kick-off the HRC's spring week of events. Join us for student and faculty speakers, performances, reflections, and much more. TUESDAY 2/28: **Mardi Gras Dinner** Greylock Dining Hall, 5-8 PM Menu includes soup, salad, fried chicken, rice and black beans, Marche table style muffeletta sandwiches, and King Cake for dessert! All proceeds benefit the HRC. **Williams Students in the Gulf Coast: A Multimedia Presentation** Goodrich, 8:30 PM A group of students who traveled to the Gulf Coast during Winter Study to volunteer will share their thoughts, memories, photos, and video memoirs of their experiences. We'll also discuss opportunities for future volunteer trips, and raise some funds to support Williams students who have already committed to volunteering during Spring Break. WEDNESDAY 3/1: **After the Deluge: Artistic Reflections on the Hurricanes** Spencer Art Gallery, 8 PM The Art Collective will be hosting a show featuring a New Orleans artist and student works. THURSDAY 3/2: **Mr. Williams Pageant!** Goodrich, 9 - 10:30 PM Some of the best guys on campus will strut their stuff, dance, and perform their special talents as they compete for the elusive title of "Mr. Williams." Bring money to vote for your favorite contestant - we'll see what our expert judges think! Featuring a special halftime performance. **After-party with the new Mr. Williams** The Log, 10 PM - 1 AM Come celebrate with the new Mr. Williams at the Log following the pageant. Great music (campus DJ) & good company will be shared by all. Cash bar for those 21+. FRIDAY 3/3: **HRC First Fridays--"Debutante Ball"** Goodrich, 10PM SATURDAY 3/4: **Community Mardi Gras Party and Campus Scavenger Hunt** Lasell gym, 1 - 4 PM All local children and their families are welcome to join us for this Mardi Gras Party, filled with fun activities like mask making, animal balloon making, and a Mardi Gras parade. Students will also lead a fun & educational scavenger hunt to teach kids about the Gulf Coast and the hurricanes. **Screening of "A Streetcar Named Desire"** The Log, 4 PM Join us for a classic movie & hot chocolate! **Pub Crawl** Purple Pub & Red Herring, 9 PM-1 AM If you're 21+, the place to be on Saturday night is at the HRC pub crawl, taking place at the Purple Pub and the Red Herring! Bring a valid ID with you as you travel from bar to bar & celebrate the spirit of the South. Proceeds from drink sales will go directly to relief and rebuilding efforts.
