The formation of the Williams College Students of Caribbean Ancestry (SoCA) was spear-headed more than ten years ago by Frank Rosado '96 and other Caribbean affiliated students in the class of '95 and '96. In its first active years on the Williams campus, Students of Caribbean Ancestry passed a number of important milestones. From creating a constitution , participating in the annual North East Regional Caribbean Students Conference, hosting its first ever Caribbean Heritage weekend (Spring, 1996) and a subsequent Caribbean week the following year.
