Root is the name of the superuser on Unix, Linux, Mac OS X, and other similar operating systems. WSO uses the term to refer to a person who has root (or superuser) privileges on the WSO servers.
As a student organization, WSO is always looking for more members. More hands on deck allow us to create more and better services for the campus community. Consider joining the wso-staff email list to hear more about what goes on inside WSO.
