The boat

The boat is made out of a two-by four, some dowels, some small pieces of pine, and some miscellaneous trinkets like beads, string, and plastic plumbing parts. I made it with lots of power tools, a healthy dose of cleverness, and as much precision as possible under the circumstances.

The boat contains eight rowers, who are forced to move together, and a coxswain, who can actually steer the boat. The trim matches that of a Williams boat, with purple and yellow in the appropriate places. The boat is about five feet long.
