DECATUR
MASONIC TEMPLE

west of the city center is the Decatur
Masonic Temple. Built of reinforced concrete in the 1920's, the
building is a beautifully severe art-deco meeting hall. The Temple
has played host to numerous symphony orchestras, accommodating thousands
of guests in its grand ballroom. It is home to eight Masonic bodies. |
