Those of you familiar with 20th Century architecture will recognize that the buildings pictured in the top two photographs are in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. The buildings were apparently designed by his firm, but he eloped to Europe with the wife of one of his clients before he could sign the plans.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist (middle right), is located just up the block from the two Wright designs.

The James Millikin Homestead (left) serves as a gathering place for local benevolent societies and is open to the public for tours.
