WEST
END NEIGHBORHOOD

| The
West End is the site of many of Decatur's most historic homes. Indeed,
many streets in this neighborhood are still paved with brick. Two
large parks (Fairview and Kiwanis) as well as a public bike and walking
trail are found in the West End. Decatur city government recently
instituted a leaf-burning ban because of requests from many residents
in this area of town. The West
End Neighborhood Association offers a webpage with links to several
useful city programs and contacts. The photo to the right is of two
