During Spring Semester 1997, I lived in London for six months. I attended University College London, took some Art History classes, and spent a good chunk of money on plays, musicals, concerts, traveling, and pubs. The highlight of my semester abroad, however, was probably the trip I took for spring break. I traveled with my friends Ashley and Jules for five weeks, from March 23 to the end of April. We had an amazing time.
This web site is dedicated to the trip. We used an unlimited Eurail pass to explore, and learned to love the prospect of schlepping our backpacks with us every day. We became used to nasty jeans and converting between drachma and lira. We had incredible conversations and incredible meals.

| I wrote a ton in my journal during the trip. If you check out this site, you might find a few excerpts. |
| This photo was taken on the train from Galway to Dublin. Ashley and I had a double epiphany; we wrote pages and pages, asking each other questions, putting words into each other's mouths. After the whole process, I came to the realization that "I'm a person!" |
