This is where you get to find out all about me and my life (if you care!)
I am a twenty-one-year-old senior, majoring in English and Classics, at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. I spent all of last year in the Williams-Oxford Programme at Oxford University in England. I've just handed in my senior thesis (!!) and am waiting for the final word on a bunch of job possibilities. It looks like the choices next year are Williamstown and New York City ... rather different worlds! I'm captain of the Williams Equestrian Team and I sing in the Williams College Chamber Choir. Life is fairly full, but fun. It would be more fun if my boyfriend, Josh, hadn't been so impressed by my accounts of Williams-in-Oxford that he decided to go this year! Ah well, such is life.
Back at home in New Haven, CT (home of Yale University where I've worked for the past three summers), my family consists of my parents and my sisters Margaret and Marion. (Margaret is actually not in New Haven, but in Troy, New York, where she goes to an all-girls' boarding school, Emma Willard. Confused yet?) Margaret is a unique person and her uniqueness can be sampled, if not fully appreciated, by going to HER webpage (permanently under construction). Margaret will be heading off to Trinity College in Hartford in the fall.
My interests are many and varied. Besides horses and singing, they include medieval culture (especially philosophy and literature), all things English, musical theatre, and books in general. (I'm looking for jobs in publishing, nonprofit or educational administration, and teaching: if you think you might want to hire me, you can look at my resume online!)
I am a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church, and am passionate about church music and liturgy. In recent years I've worshipped at the Episcopal Church of St. Paul and St. James in New Haven, St. John's Church in Williamstown, and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin and St. Mary Magdalene's Church in Oxford.
