English Gardens Mystery Quilt

This quilt reminds me of the parks of Jane Austen's novels. It is a fairly large quilt (89"x107") and will easily fit a queen size bed. It is appropriate for intermediate quilters; a beginner might find it very challenging but not impossible.

Note: this one is still heavily under construction. I'm testing it one step ahead of time, so the parts aren't all here yet. Right now, only part one is there. Do not be alarmed; part two will appear soon. How soon? Don't know. Before armageddon, at least.

On second thought, be alarmed. Like I said, I'm testing it, and it might have huge errors in it.

There have been multiple requests for information as to when part two will come out, actually. I have two answers to that. One, I've decided to make this quilt to enter in the county fair this summer. Now, first I have to make a double wedding ring for my beloved friend's wedding, which is July 11. Then I'm going to start work on this one again; I will put the parts up as I go. The fair entries have to be in by August 6, so if you'd like to spend July quilting with me, come on along.

The second answer is that I am starting a little mailing list for updates. Nothing major, just an alias in Eudora, but I will send out an e-mail everytime I put up a new part to this quilt. If you'd like to be on that list, please send me a mail saying so.

Thank you for your patience. If I had to chew everything I ever bit off, I'd have choked to death at about age 8, when I decided my shoebox diorama had to have all of Pooh Corner, done up in clay. Hey, it doesn't sound like much now, but I was 8.
