To obtain employment as a paralegal or paralegal/administrative assistant before entering law school.

Education


Graduated from Williams College in June 1997 with a major in English (GPA 3.22 in major), concentrations in Mathematics, Music and Classics. Attended classes at Sienna College in the summer 1996 in Latin (GPA 3.5).

Experience


Park Personnel, June 1996 - present. Worked at various office temporary assignments, including law offices, doing general secretarial work including dictation, data entry, answering telephones, proof-reading and word processing.

Bard Urological, (Document Control Dept.) (through Park Personnel), June 1995 - August 1995. Worked with engineers and coworkers to create engineering instructions used to make catheters and to maintain production records. Duties included word processing, proof-reading, editing and filing.

Williams College Music Department, September 1995 - May 1996, Teaching Assistant. Organized and taught music theory labs for second year music theory classes.

Williams College Library (Circulation Dept.), September 1995 - present. Checked in and out materials to library patrons, helped prepare mailings to patrons, answered questions and/or referred patrons to other departments.

Williams College Housing Office, September 1994 - May 1995, House Manager. Served as a liaison between the housing office, custodial services and the residents of the building; compiled temperature statistics for the building.

Personal


General knowledge of both Mac and IBM software, including MSWord, WordPerfect and Excel; HTML, Pascal and C; UNIX, DOS, 5.x and higher, Windows, 3.x and 95, and Mac operating systems, 7.x and higher. Enjoy playing early chamber music, quilting, badminton and collecting games of many civilizations.
