Squirrel Study

Winter 1997

I am fascinated by squirrels, possibly because they are the easiest of wild animals to find and observe.
However, I have not been very succesful at drawing them from life; they are just too active.
During a nature journal winter study class with Claire Walker Leslie, I drew this squirrel from a photograph.
