The Legacy of Heorot (With Jerry Pournelle and Steven Barnes)
The story of a group of slower than light interplanetary colonists, and the beginning of their colony on an alien world, where their progress is halted by a plague of "Grendels."
Beowulf's Children (With Jerry Pournelle and Steven Barnes)
Sequel to The Legacy of Heorot. The next generation of colonists prepares for a move from their isolated isle to the continent beyond.
Destiny's Road
Vaguely set in the same universe as Legacy of Heorot and Beowulf's Children, but not a sequel, or really related to them in any way, and on a different planet. A young man sets off to explore the mysteries of the fused lava road which leads out away from his isolated community, in a journey that will last his lifetime.

The Magic Goes Away
Set in Earth before the dawn of technological civilization, the Warlock discovers that the world is slowly running out of the 'mana' needed to power magic. He and a group of fellow wizards make a desperate bid to save civilization as they know it. (Note: This is the same world as that of the short stories "Not Long Before the End", "What Good Is a Glass Dagger", "Unfinished Story #1", and all the stories in the anthology The Magic May Return).

Dream Park (With Steven Barnes)
Holographic technologies allow a new theme park to create fantasy worlds where actors and customers can interact in classical adventures of science fiction or swashbuckling. But when a murder takes place in the park, the game becomes a lot more real for security chief Alex Griffin.
The Barsoom Project (With Steven Barnes)
The sequel to Dream Park. When Dream Park hosts a meeting of powerful nations as they discuss the upcoming Mars habitation project, life again becomes rather interesting for Alex Griffin, especially as a supposedly small scale game booms out of control.
The California Voodoo Game (With Steven Barnes)
The sequel to Dream Park and The Barsoom Project. The largest and highest stakes game ever for Dream Park is jeapordized by an industrial sabateur. Once again, Griffin must penetrate the game and stop the thief without alerting the public... Or the other players.

Integral Trees
Take an ancient neutron star, no longer rotating. Put a gas giant in close orbit. The giant's atmosphere leaks off its primary and goes into orbit around a sun, creating an unimaginably huge volume of atmosphere in space. Sure, it's unstable, but you've got a few hundred million years to play with. Humans escape their tyrranical ship's master into the 'Smoke Ring,' and revert to barbarity. This is the story of the beginning of the end for that way of life.
The Smoke Ring
The sequel to Integral Trees, this story takes place one generation later as the refugees on Citizen's Tree begin to take a look at their new surroundings beyond Gold.

Achilles' Choice (With Steven Barnes)
I do not know the subject matter of this book.

Footfall (With Jerry Pournelle)
An alien race invades earth, using the ultimate weapon: A 'dinosaur killer' asteroid. They discover that technology does not a war win.

Lucifer's Hammer
A huge comet comes crashing down upon the earth, creating anarchy. (I have not read this book).

Fallen Angels (With Jerry Pournelle and Michael Flynn)
Astronauts return to the earth after the ice-age that global warming has been putting off finally takes hold. Set upon by those who hate the space program, they find their allies in science fiction fans. I have not read this book.

Oath of Fealty (With Jerry Pournelle)
In dangerous future Los Angeles, all you have to do to get into crime free, wonderful housing, seperated from the underclass, is swear fealty to its masters. I have not read this book.

A World Out of Time
Jaybee Corbell is dead. But his memories are frozen in his cancer ridden corpse, and, hundreds of years later, implanted in the mind-wiped corpse of a criminal. From one jump in time comes another, and now Jaybee is 3.5 million years in the Earth's future... To a time when humanity is hardly human. The beginning, but not meat, of this book was printed as the short story "Rammer."
