Eleanore is an enigmatic figure in the Family. At first glance, she's open, straightforward, friendly. But look beneath the surface, and her actions undermine her first impressions. She and Jonas launched and executed the plot to kill Eric. There are rumours of incest in her background, and she's been peripherally involved in many of the war's stranger reversals.
Like her father, Eleanore is athletic, and she has demonstrated significantly above-average strength for an Amberite. Her magical skills are also quite advanced. She's played her cards close to her chest, and she has not been involved in a large number of public conflicts.
Eleanore was close to Jonas before he died, and she had a long-term friendship with Orlando, but it's not clear whether that has survived their opposite sides in the Third Rebellion. She and her father seem reasonably close, though their interests diverge fairly markedly. She seems to be on good terms with Julian and Llewella. The rest of her family relations seem to be distant.
On the rare occaisions when Eleanore is drawn into physical battle, she does not appear to have a particularly favoured weapon. She has been known to wear plate mail when occaision demands, and she has a propensity for losing her weapons.
Eleanore is known to be a Trump artist, and she definitely has some non-standard Trumps in her pack.
