Description:
Saklas' appearance is reminiscent of a demon even while he is in
human form. He has very dark skin, black eyebrows and goatee, and is
utterly bald. His eyes are icy blue, apparently the only visible
connection to his father. He is 5'9" in height and masses about 150lbs.
His forearms are badly scarred from an encounter with a Shadlich (a
four-meter crocodile analog with two meter-long jaws full of hundreds
of brittle but rapidly regrown teeth) when he was too young to have
learned to control his healing. In his trump, he is shown on one of
the main rivers of Riveraine, carrying paired serated
shortswords.
Saklas' combat form is a four-armed monitor lizard analog, with black
skin like volcanic rock, a yellow belly, gills, and eyes in the same
shocking blue as his human form's.
Saklas was raised on his mother's Shadow, Riveraine, where he is
worshipped (in his combat form) as a somewhat unpredictable god of
vengeance. When his father summoned him to Chaos, he suddenly found
himself in the midst of the Chaosian power struggle. He is currently
second in line for the House Hendrake throne, and eighteenth (so far
as he knows) in line for the Imperial throne. He's unlikely to
achieve that amount of power, but has no intention of being brushed
aside or disregarded.
Saklas was at odds with Jala from day one, and this continued through
Jala's term as House Lord, until such time as they found themselves
leading armies against each other, and Jala's death, which made Saklas
Head of house Hendrake. With Emperor Estancion's help, he is putting
the House back together.
Saklas has shown some basic Logrus and shapeshifting abilities. He is
known to be a solid warrior and to have exceptional endurance.
