The Transportation Academy is home of the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Engineering Program. With its network of schools across the United States, PLTW gives students the tools to succeed in engineering, science, mathematics, and technology careers.

Students applying to the PLTW Program should have the following:

A strong background in mathematics and science.
Two letters of recommendation from their teachers (at least one from a math teacher).
