There are some things that just piss me off to no end. There are quite a lot of them, but I don't always get around to writing rants for them. Most of these will probably contain their own warning at the beginning, but it's worth mentioning even before you get into them that these are rants. They are not sober and considered reflections on the merits of two sides of an argument. They are not calm discussions of fact. They are not fair and even musings on the nature of life.
The American Heritage Dictionary defines "rant" as "violent, loud, or extravagent speech". These are that. I am not in Great Britain, so in no way do I use "rant" to mean "wild or uproarious merriment", even if writing these can make me feel better.
If you are easily offended and don't like to be offended, you should not read these. If you're interested in knowing some of the things that piss me off and keep me up at night, you should read them. If you are likely to take what I have to say personally, you should not read them. If you are likely to want to get involved in a discussion about what I have to say, you should read them. If you're going to rant back at me about why I'm wrong, you shouldn't bother.
And now, on to the rants:

What's up with that? (topic: unsolicited
yelling from strangers) 7/12/00
There are also a few more considered ponderings:

And some links:
Project Censored
reports on worthy news stories that get "censored" by junk food news
stories like the Clinton/Lewinsky mess. This link relates to "Got
Manipulation?" above.
