The Funny File

Last year, this page changed every month. This year, I think it's just going to be the one good file. I'm leaving you the Cosby clip for another little while. But more importantly, I'm going to share with you on this page a rare treasure. A never-before heard masterpiece of modern music. I know that normally I post lengthy descriptions of a comedic genius, but in this case, I am forced to pay tribute to a serious artist:

Ham-STAR, yo.

Yes, Ham-STAR is one of the most talented rappers working today, and widely considered to be the greatest hamster rapper of all time. He is practically an American cultural icon, and certainly serves as mine. Now, while Ham-STAR does not yet have out any CDs, I heard that he had been working with Mixmaster Mark (whose website is www.phonicoid.com), and I managed to sneak in to one of their warm-up sessions.

What follows is an entirely unlicensed recording. Before you listen to this, please let me make very clear that this is a Ham-STAR bootleg. I apologize for the poor sound quality, but my little recorder is a piece of crap, and I couldn't really get too close to him or he'd know I was recording. His stuff sounds much better in person, or on an actual take for a CD, but even this bootleg should convince you that nobody raps like Ham-STAR.

Ham-STAR Bootleg!

2003 bonus file -- Bill Cosby

Ha. Laugh all the way Home.

Or laugh at some of my old writing.

Or join the rest of the world in laughing at my life.
