Once upon a time, in Town, lived Writer. Writer wanted to write. However, he also wanted to eat food and live under a roof. People would not trade him this just for writing, so he got Half-job. Half-job paid enough for him to rent a roof to live under and eat a little food, but it wasn't very much, and Half-job wasn't very much fun.

So Writer left Half-job, and managed to find a position at Company. Company paid better than Half-job, and although it was a desk job, working at Company was still much more fun. This was good for Writer, who would walk to work each day at noon, work for Company, and then go home to ostensibly write but actually play games.

One day, Company said, "We are moving from Town to Othertown." This made Writer sad, because Othertown was too far away to walk to. But Writer found that there was a Man with House in Othertown who would trade it for Copious Amounts of Money. Man with House had House that was very close to where Company would be moving. "That would be a good place to live then," said Writer.

So Writer went to look at House, and offered to trade Man with House some Copious Amounts of Money for House. (Writer did not actually have Copious Amounts of Money, but figured he could borrow it from Bank of Infinite Debt.) Man with House wanted to trade, but trading houses is very tricky.

Writer was forced to ask for the help of Lawyer, who said that Man with House should fix things in House. Man with House did not necessarily want to, but Lawyer convinced him to fix some things. Much Talking was done, and it was agreed that Man with House would become Man without House but with Copious Amounts of Money, and Writer would become Writer with House and Copious Amounts of Debt.

However, Lawyer said that House had Issue. Man with House denied that there was Issue, and Many Emails were sent. (It was later revealed that Much Talking and Many Emails meant that Lawyer could charge Copious Amounts of Money.) Issue did not seem to be resolving, as Lawyer and Man with House could not agree. It seemed Writer would remain as Writer without House.

Then, Writer realized that Man with House would really prefer Copious Amounts of Money to House, and Writer would get more use out of House, so Writer asked Lawyer to offer more Copious Amounts of Money, and to pay for Issue, if it would just be Fixed. Man with House agreed, and on a Grey Wednesday in November, Man with House became Man with Copious Amounts of Money, and Writer became Writer with House and Copious Amounts of Debt.

    The End.*

Home, Jeeves.

*Well, of course it's not really the end. I still have to figure out how I'm moving stuff there, when I'm moving stuff there, what stuff I'm moving there, how I'll transport myself from here to there, how I'll transport myself from there to here, who will take my place here, who will live with me there, what improvements I might want to make before I move in, and how the hell I'm going to take care of my own house. But it's a good start.
