    No, I'm not Spider-Man.

  • Friendly: So, the gaming gathering I hosted on Saturday turned out okay. Somewhere between one and two dozen people were there, and many games we invented were played by people who had never played them before.
  • Neighborhood: Mr. Rogers is dead.
  • Webslinger: The actual point of this post. I've started learning how to do things on the web. I have been working on the Political Science department website for Williams college, but it's entirely devoid of humor*, so I won't link to it here.

Interestingly, while I've managed to make that website look good, working on it has only strengthened my belief in content over form for my own site. Maybe one day I'll get Lex to help me overhaul my site, but in the meantime, I'm content to have the plain blue background with black text. No pictures, no frames, no tables. Just me.

Lest you think I am not working to make this site more fun for you, though, I should point out that I've added a whole new section to my homepage. This NEW!er section will contain one file. The file will be changed on an approximately monthly basis. It begins now, because of a program I recently acquired called Kazaalite.

Kazaalite serves much the same function that Napster and other such programs do -- namely, to let the plebian masses obtain vast quantities of music without the inconvenience of having to pay for it.

In the last four days, although I have accomplished little else, I have acquired a plethora of Tom Lehrer mp3 files, including some that I (*gasp*) had never heard before. This alone makes it a worthwhile use of time.

But in addition to all that, I downloaded random comedy and came across an amusing meta-song that I wanted to share with some friends. I could only find it online with laughing over it, so I wanted a clean version to share. So, ye friends of mine who listen to a capella, or heaven forbid, sing a capella, if you have not heard this song, I suggest that you go do so.

And more importantly, heck, why not have a new section on my website. Maybe it'll make it worth actually going to my homepage, instead of starting on my diary page.

    Maybe.

Home, Jeeves.

*Okay, I did manage to put one funny answer in the FAQ section. It may get edited out, but I had to try. And before you ask, no I didn't write most of the copy on the site, which is why it isn't particularly great.
