Long ago it was quite an event,
When a scandal hit the president.
He would be unrespected,
And not re-elected,
Unless he could fully repent.
But these days, people simply don't care
If the president has an affair.
Paula Jones can go by,
And we don't bat an eye,
Because Clinton likes girls with big ... hair.
And long before Paula spoke out,
Clinton's morals were still in much doubt.
We saw hours and hours
Of Gennifer Flowers
Which made him seem less than devout.
And now with Lewinsky accusing,
The story is almost amusing.
His PR is Teflon,
So no matter what Mon-
Ica says, he will not take a bruising.
We've seen Flowers, Lewinsky, and Jones,
All accusing in various tones.
But it has been suspected
That they were directed
By the man who found Whitewater loans.
Allegations of scandalous acts,
May be partially stretching the facts.
Could it be, Kenneth Starr
Is just trying to mar
Clinton's image with trumped-up attacks?
And even if Clinton's at fault,
He's a figure that people exalt.
When economy thrives,
We're content with our lives,
So who cares if the scandals don't halt?
It has been shown in surveys and such,
That to us, morals don't matter much.
Most would be more upset
If they wound up in debt
Than if Clinton finds interns to touch.
So these women we'll mostly ignore,
Because Clinton has done it before.
When it happens to Bill,
It is barely a thrill.
Like it would be if it was Al Gore.
And while Bill can run off to cavort,
Hillary still gives him much support.
Even when he shows lust,
She gives him faith and trust
Which is good, 'cause he'll need it in court.
