Mythology

Mythology is a strong interest of mine, and as such I will probably end up making absurd references to it. Consequently, I thought I'd flex my classical muscle at you all and create a reference page with background information about these wonderful stories. Enjoy!

I should note that a much more complete online compendium of mythology (for those interested) can be found at Pantheon.org, and a wonderful collection of Japanese ghosts and monsters can be found at Obakemono.com.

NB: I make no major claims to the veracity of these entries, though I believe them to be relatively accurate. If you feel I have missed something, or am incorrect in my accounts, please feel free to email me. In general, my sources are Pantheon.org, Bulfinch's Mythology, Edith Hamilton's Mythology, and (with many grains of salt) wikipedia.org, among various other texts.
