Play: There is a Field

Posted Saturday March 5 by Phoebe A. Hall

Join Williams’ Students for Justice in Palestine in observing Israeli Apartheid Week, an international event to raise awareness of the Palestinian struggle for freedom and justice and build support for movements that oppose Israel’s apartheid policies.

We will kick off Israeli Apartheid week with a performance of There is a Field, a play about Aseel Asleh, a 17 year old Palestinian citizen of Israel killed by police in October 2000. The performance will take place in Paresky Auditorium, on Tuesday March 8 at 7:30pm. Following the show, we will host a discussion to address the themes of inequality and state violence, and to build solidarity across universal struggles for liberation and equality.
