Deconstructing Ableism Around the World: One Fellow's Journey. Join us Thurs, Nov 8, 4:30 in Griffin 4 to learn from Aseel Abulhab, Williams Class of 15. After graduating with a degree in History and International Studies, Aseel embarked on a Watson Fellowship where she traveled to over a dozen countries on a project called "Reconstructing Deafness: An Education in Silence." She focused her research on Deaf populations' access to education, and Deaf culture. After returning from the Watson, Aseel worked at an education policy non-profit in Boston, and then traveled to Jordan on a Fulbright Scholarship, where she continued her Watson work. All welcome!
