Looking for a "Best Buddy" for a college-age guy with autism...Posted Thursday October 12 by Heather Williams
Young adults with autism spectrum disorder are very lonely; they want friends, but usually lack the social and conversational skills that would allow them to form friendships. A "best buddy" can make a world of difference. What is involved? Hanging out with a young man for a couple of hours every other week or so; maybe going to a game, or eating in the dining hall, or going to a concert or play (your costs would be covered). If you're interested, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 413-884-2372.
