Finley's Managers

Our seventh bonus comes from the realm of Sports.

"If I'm going to run a finishing school for managers, I want to be paid for it." The wit and wisdom of Charles O. Finley was recently accorded headlines once again, when it was learned that Charlie had actually traded his 1976 manager to the Pittsburgh Pirates for All-Star catcher Many Sanguillen and $100,000. It was at this point that the sports department at BOMO decided that the time had indeed come for a Finley-inspired bonus.

We would like you to name every manager who has served under Charlie at both Kansas City and Oakland since he took over the A's franchise in 1961. There have been a total of 12. Full credit of 5 points will be awarded if you name 11 out of 12. This is inclusive of his latest selection to be the 1977 manager. Again, we want to know the names of 11 out of his 12 managers from 1961-1977.
