General Morgasm had the big first half, outscoring their nearest competitor by 3 points per hour, then held on for the win. BOMO rebounded from a fourth- place start, aided by a double-5 in Challenge Trivia. Alphabet Soup also played steadily, and would beat out BOMO the following semester. BOMO, in turn, would win Alphabet Soupâs contest. A big comeback after a shaky start for Universal Export, about whom almost nothing is known. Many of the teams in this contest besides the big three would last for years, including the Knights of Ni, Wingnuts, 12 O'Clock High, Hold the Anchovies, Harlem River Drive, and of course, the still-active-20-years-later Manhattan Skyliners.
