[citation needed] has a lot of people to thank for helping out with this contest. When we won, we were a team of four people, and we were very concerned for how the heck we were going to be able to run with four people. Fortunately, friends and family helped!
We had the remote team of chat hosts in Worcester - Tyler, Liz, Rob, Julia, Kristen, Brandon, and Arjun - who spent a lot of time on chat hosts, and did a great job of notating everything, even if the site was having trouble on their end.
Our main HQ was in Providence, and we had a rocking house for the night. We had a number of chat hosts here, including Lily, Aliya, AJ, Josh, my dad Patrick, Ange's mom Marlene, and Ange's sister Hanna. In addition, we had our main DJ throughout the night, my sister Becky. (In retrospect, if I knew that she was going to be the main DJ, I might not have given her the word "symphony" to say as much as I ended up doing. Sorry.)
In addition, Dima was an awesome boni grader. Between Ange and them, they graded all of your hours/supers from the whole night before 7AM!
The core four of [citation needed] are Jen McTeague, Ange Strom-Weber, Andrew Esten, and Cooper Bennet. [citation needed] started as a team for just Ange and I - it was a date we could do easily while we were doing the long-distance relationship. Cooper is a former student of ours who we've roped into puzzle hunts and other events, and Andrew is a friend from puzzle hunting. Everything that you solved during this contest was written by one of us four.
Most of the boni were written by the whole group, but each of them had a lead person that I'd like to credit:
Andrew: Spelling Counts, Measure for Measure, This or That
Ange: Civics, International TV, Scripts
Jen: Anti-Match Game, Rock Around the Clock, What's in a Game?, Space Jam
Lastly, a large thank you to Mark and Louis for dealing with our nagging questions about how to do stuff. I'm sure we were annoying at times, but hopefully it all paid off.
