Since the late fifties, MAD Magazine has published parodies of popular American movies and television shows. Not only are the shows parodied, but the titles of the shows are parodied; the movie "Lifeboat," for instance, was retitled "Life Dinghy," and from TV, "Cannon" became "Canyon."
