Section One: Which of these things is not like the others?

In this section, you will be given lists of four items. Three of the items in each list will be related, but a fourth will be out of place. Pick the item that is unlike the others and identify what makes it different.

  1. Baculum, frenulum, perineum, rectum.
    Baculum. The baculum is the penile bone which some species (raccoons for instance) have; all the other structures are soft tissue.

  2. Clitoris, corpus cavernosum, nipple, testicle.
    The testicle is the only one of these things that does not swell up with blood during vasocongestion associated with sexual arousal.

  3. Crocodile dung, fish stomach, lemon halves, grapefruit seeds.
    Grapefruit seeds are the only item in this list that are not known to have been historically employed as a contraceptive.

  4. Fin whales, human beings, hyenas, guinea pigs.
    Hyenas are the only animal on this list that is not known to have a hymen.

  5. "The Manual of Lady's Purity," "The Perfumed Garden for the Soul's Recreation," "Kama Sutra," "The Secrets of Women."
    The Secrets of Women (De secretis mulierum, pseudo-Albertus Magnus) is the only text on this list that is not actually a sex manual. The other three all are, in Chinese, Arabic, and Sanskrit, respectively. The De secretis mulierum is a book on gynecology.
