The "Let's Go To The Movies" Advertising Bonus
According to statistics, college students go to the movies a great deal.
Weekly theaters all over the country show a wealth of material, from the great to
the horrific. How do we decide which flicks to slap down four dollars to
see? Well, that's where Madison Avenue takes over for Hollywood. The ad slogan
that appears in the paper is a key in deciding whether or not to attend a
movie. We've collected 20 slogans for movies from 1975 to the present. How many
can you name?
- "The woman every woman wants to be, and every man wants to have."
- "Wait till you see the weird part!"
- "A man who believed in war! A man who believed in nothing! And a woman who believed in both of them!"
Coming Home.
