Suite, Suite Lovin’

January 12-13, 2007

Notes

This was the first contest to break with the 12-8 format which had been Trivia's timeslot from the beginning. The hope was that more people would be able to participate if the contest started a little earlier, and then once they started, they'd be sucked in for the duration.

Also, this was the first contest to bypass WCFM: the contest was streamed directly over the internet. Technical difficulties with the stream pushed the start time forward from the planned 10 PM to 10:30 PM, but the stream was for the most part reliable from then on.

One other rule change: Suite Suite declared "Thou Shalt not Google Songs." It was made illegal to use the internet to identify music, but googling for trivia was still permitted, with the same 10/15 sliding scale on boni that was begun by Worker and Parasite.

Someone had reserved Goodrich for the evening, so Suite Suite was holed up in Hopkins basement.
