[Jewonthis] Fall Semester Announcements

Hi Friends!

We hope that you are all having wonderful summers!

There are a few things we wanted to let you know about as returning to
campus starts to be on the horizon:

1. WCJA runs a Big/Little Siblings program, in which we pair up older
students with first years. This is a great chance to meet someone new,
introduce them to Williams, and do fun activities together! If you're
interested in this opportunity, please fill out this survey.

2. The first Shabbat dinner will be during First Days on Friday, September
1. As per usual, there will be services at 6pm and dinner at 7pm. If you're
on campus, please join us!

3. WCJA is still looking for a shopper, which is a PAID campus position.
The shopper's job is to get food for Shabbat dinner from Stop and Shop and
Mission every Thursday afternoon, which takes about two hours. It is
required to have a car for this job. If you or anyone you know is
interested, please let Tamar know (tsa1 at williams.edu).

4. Finally, the High Holidays are fast approaching! If you are interested
in participating in services in any capacity -- whether that be giving a
d'var, reading a prayer in English or Hebrew, reading Torah, or more --
please contact WCJA's religious director, Ariel Koltun-Fromm, at
ak27 at williams.edu.
