Many students keep a blog, have a home page, or otherwise have a web page to call their own. This article tries to list all of them.

If you want to know how to make a home page of your own, check out the article on [[making your own web page]].

Please organize these by class year so we can easily transfer graduating classes to [[alumni with web presences]]. Also, alphabetize the list by last name then first name.

The Williams community gathered this evening to discuss the prevalence of hate
and indifference on our campus. Over 120 students spent hours sharing our
anger and developing a vision for a better community. This is our way of
beginning to change the culture of apathy and foster the real respect that we
know is possible.

We are Williams students and we see hate and indifference here and now.

We are committing to build a respectful and affirming community.

We stand against discrimination of every kind and demand the same from our administration; until this becomes a reality we will keep fighting.

Stand with us!

Help make room draw less stressful - let others know how big your group is and where you're looking to pick into.

No intimidation of other groups (such as "if we don't get into Morgan third floor, we'll harass whoever lives there all year") is allowed; if you do that, you could get kicked to the end of the room draw. Also, don't post anything during the actual room draw or from the room draw locations, as that is also not allowed.
Also, putting your class year rather than your class title (" '12 " rather than "senior") might make things clearer since the distinction between current sophomore and rising sophomore might make things a little muddy.
===Places to go and Things to do===
You can easily get by without a car during the school year. But when that 9-5 job ends, you're not left with much else to do because this is Williamstown, MA, after all. Here are some places in the "area" to spend some luxury time.

*Pittsfield is a bit closer than Vermont with 2 decent lakes. It's a "city." There's also Barrington Stage and The Colonial if you're interested in theatre/cultural activities and have seen everything at Williamstown Theatre Festival already.

*Lake Shaftsbury, VT. A short 45 minute drive away, Lake Shaftsbury offers a nice big lake with walking path around the lake, a dirt volleyball area, a wide open field for frisbee throwing and other events, paddleboats for rent, and more! $2 or $3 per person. [http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=262+State+Park+Rd,+Shaftsbury,+VT+05262+(Lake+Shaftsbury+State+Park)&geocode=17165859843304142990,43.022335,-73.181710&dirflg=&saddr=williamstown,+ma&f=d&hl=en&dq=Lake+Shaftsbury+State+Park&sll=43.020212,-73.182893&sspn=0.007954,0.014591&cid=43022335,-73181710,274382175053253860&ie=UTF8&z=10 Directions].

*[http://www.bso.org/bso/index.jsp?id=bcat5240070 Tanglewood]. This performance space of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops is located in Lenox and is an outstanding location for a picnic and a concert. Try to get there before the end of the summer.

*[http://www.wtfestival.org/ Williamstown Theater Festival]. It's here again this year. Students are allowed to purchase "Student Rush Tickets" to all performances starting three hours before curtain for $15. Otherwise, shows are pretty expensive, but it's an opportunity to see some good theater without going very far.
